In 2019, a remarkable 9-year-old goalkeeper named Brady Krysiewicz from Virginia embarked on a mission to create positive change in the world. Driven by an innate desire to make a difference, Brady's passion for helping others was ignited during a goalkeeper summer camp. Inspired by his coaches, Brady's heart swelled with a newfound determination to extend his impact beyond the soccer field.
In a moment of clarity, Brady conceived the powerful campaign known as Keeper for a Cure. This initiative aimed to tackle a multitude of challenges and issues faced by his community, with a special focus on breast cancer. However, Brady's vision extended far beyond this single cause. By deliberately choosing the word "cure," he sought to encapsulate his broader mission of effecting change in the lives of those around him.
As Brady delved deeper into organizing and fundraising for Keeper for a Cure, he realized that his impact could be magnified by rallying the support of fellow goalkeepers. Just as a goalkeeper relies on the unwavering support of their teammates on the field, Brady aspired to inspire more goalkeepers to stand behind their communities off the field. Together, they could create an unstoppable force of compassion and action, leaving an indelible mark on the world.
Brady's coaches had reminded him that his role as a goalkeeper extended beyond protecting the goal and communicating with his teammates. It also taught him valuable leadership skills. Inspired by this realization, Brady decided to utilize his leadership abilities off the field to make a tangible difference.
Motivated by his family members who had battled breast cancer, Brady was determined to raise funds for breast cancer awareness, funding, and research. However, he understood that his impact would be even greater if he could involve other goalkeepers in his cause. After all, in soccer, the goalkeeper always has the back of their teammates. Brady's ultimate goal was to unite goalkeepers, encouraging them to have the back of their communities and join the fight against breast cancer.
With unwavering determination and an unwavering spirit, Brady Krysiewicz set out to create a ripple effect of positivity and change. Through Keeper for a Cure, he aimed to inspire not only his fellow goalkeepers but also the world at large. Together, they would prove that compassion and action could conquer any challenge, leaving an everlasting legacy of hope and unity.

Brady Krysiewicz is emerging as one of the promising young goalkeepers to watch in American youth soccer. Originally from Madison Heights, Virginia, Brady relocated to Kansas City to pursue the next chapter of his development with the Sporting Kansas City Academy, one of the premier player pathways in the country.
Having stepped into goal for the first time at just six years old, Brady now brings more than a decade of experience, discipline, and passion to the position. Known for his composure, work ethic, and competitive mentality, he has steadily built a reputation as a goalkeeper who thrives under pressure and embraces the responsibility of protecting the net.
Since arriving in Kansas City, Brady has continued to elevate his game while representing the values of both his club and his community. His dedication has already earned him notable recognition, including being named Seven Brew Hero of the Month in June 2024 and receiving the Sporting KC Blue Casey Sporting Samaritan honor in March 2025, an award given to players who demonstrate character and leadership beyond the field.
In February 2026, Brady reached a major milestone in his young career when he received his first call-up to a U.S. Youth National Team camp, a distinction reserved for a very small percentage of players across the country. The moment marked another step forward in a journey defined by sacrifice, commitment, and an unwavering belief in chasing big goals.
Off the field, Brady enjoys spending time with friends, competing in video games, and being a big brother to his sister Charlotte. But his focus remains clear. His dream is to one day step onto the pitch for the Sporting Kansas City first team, representing the crest at the highest level of the professional game. Long term, he hopes to give back to the sport that shaped him by mentoring and coaching the next generation of goalkeepers.
Still early in his career, Brady’s path is only beginning—but the trajectory is clear. With relentless determination and a deep love for the game, he continues to prove that big dreams backed by hard work can become reality.
